The Blind Project with Anthony Dodero

The first time I spoke with Anthony, I was absolutely astounded by how three courageous roommates quit their jobs in from New York and literally jumped on a plane to Southeast Asia. Now, what could possibly compel any one person to do this? Anthony expressed two words – human trafficking. Most of us really don’t want to think of the horrific scenarios of young women being sold/kidnapped/forced into the sex trafficking industry, in fact, just typing these words, fuels a deep sense of empathy towards so many young women and men who are bought and sold as commodities in this industry. At different times speaking with Anthony during this interview, I could feel myself tearing up, constantly thinking about what we as a global community can do to bring more attention and exposure to this deplorable industry.
