Lee Groves is a native of Friendly, West Virginia and is about to begin his 40th year as a boxing enthusiast. He is currently employed by RingTV.com as a writer/resident historian and by CompuBox as a writer, researcher and punch counter. He is a full member of the Boxing Writers Association of America and since 2006 he has earned 10 awards, including a first place for "news story" in 2011.
