John “Dah Rock” JacksonOn December 17, 2011 at the 49th Annual WBC Convention, Jackson defeated Keandre “Lightning” Leatherwood (whose record was 9-0 at the time) in the 6th round with a TKO. John not only handed him his first loss but he earned the title of Youth World Boxing Champion.  John was honored to have Former WBC Champion ‘Marvelous’ Marvin Hagler put on his belt after his win. Most recently, John was featured as the co-main event on ESPN “Friday Night Fights” on April 19th, 2013. That night, Jackson defeated up and coming prospect Ceresso Fort, also handing him his first loss. John is currently ranked 11th in the world for his weight class by the World Boxing Council.

John was featured in a music video “Push It” with JDPP a local band based from St. Thomas.  He’s also been featured in several commercials from Cruzan Rum, F.A.R.I. Clothing, and was featured in a TV series “Countdown to Vegas”.  John is also a motivational speaker to kids and adults as well. He speaks about the dedication and hard work that have enabled him on his journey to becoming the champion he is today. John hails from a large family with eight siblings and is now married to Bianca Maduro Jackson and has one son (John A. Jackson Jr.).
