After these things Jesus went over the Sea of Galilee, which is [the Sea] of Tiberias. Then a great multitude followed Him, because they saw His signs which He performed on those who were diseased.

"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.

"Come, see a Man who told me all things that I ever did. Could this be the Christ?" Then they went out of the city and came to Him.

Therefore, when the Lord knew that the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John (though Jesus Himself did not baptize, but His disciples), He left Judea and departed again to Galilee.

On the third day there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. Now both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding.
