After reading the book ACRES OF DIAMONDS by Russell Conwell, I am convinced we are all leaving the diamond mines in our own back yards as we travel around the world looking for larger diamonds, when in fact the diamonds we seek are found within us and our hometown, from whence we came. Therefore, we are calling the podcast, #IAMRIVIERABEACH.  #RIVIERABEACHPRIDE

Our vision is to shed a bright light on the wonderful, smart, talented individuals from our great City, Riviera Beach, Florida.

Today's Guest: Edward Walker

Edward Walker played under Dan Calloway in little league baseball while he was a kid growing up in Riviera Beach. In Riviera Beach, Edward Walker attended elementary and junior high school.  Mr. Walker Edward attended Suncoast High School and then went on to play baseball at Palm Beach Junior College. He began playing baseball at LSU after graduating Jr College. He returned to Suncoast after college to assist coach Al Sutton, who was also his high school coach. Mr. Walker joined the Riviera Beach Fire Department after coaching and advanced through the ranks to Captain. He worked for 23 years before retiring and now enjoy's golf and fishing while also assisting seniors in his area.
