About our guest; Dr. Lolita Boykin is a licensed clinical social worker, with over 20 years of experience in the field. She provides continuing education for social workers to help them mange stress, burnout, compassion and fatigue through workshops and seminars. Dr. Boykin is a graduate of Louisiana State University (Go Tigers!) and resides just north of Mobile, Alabama with her husband and two daughters.
March 15th, Dr. Boykin will be presenting a workshop at the National Association of Social Workers - Louisiana Chapter Annual Conference in Baton Rouge, LA. The title of workshop is: From Lady Mae to Gigi Greenleaf: How Black Mothers and Daughters Manage Family Trauma in Context of Church Relationships.
