Sean is well known for his whistleblowing on the Memphis VA hospital for numerous and well established abuses of patients at that facility.  Among the issues Sean exposed, was the lack of proper cleaning of dialysis equipment that endangered the lives of veterans needing dialysis.  In fact, of 13 dialysis units, 8 had to be replaced due to lack of proper maintenance.   Sean will be discussing how he discovered the filthy dialysis units and what transpired when he reported this.

Sean's relentless exposure of the lack of care, failure to follow proper procedures, leaving patients unattended and numerous other infractions at the facility caused his termination.  Sean fought back and the Memphis VA was forced to rehire him.  As a result, Sean was put into a room with a few other people, no job to do, no computer or other equipment and forced to stay there all day in retaliation for exposing the sad state of affairs at the Memphis VA.  And taxpayers had to foot the bill for this retaliation.
