Unfortunately we won't allow Politician's to use their brain

We've had some sad to horrible news in America since I left for vacation about a month ago, and as I listen to the Politicians responses to some of these issues I wonder what is wrong with both the Politicians and the Voters. For example, Obama talked about Gun Control, using what I thought was common sense, after an event that is actually pretty common on a smaller scale. Of course, everyone went crazy, he wants to take our Guns, etc., etc.
