In this episode of The Child Support Hustle Show with Author Kenya Rahmaan we will talk about what happens when the system takes money from people who don't owe it to them. Today's guest Roderick McClintock claims that's what happened to him because he paid his child support and on time. Roderick retired from the military after his children grew older and at one point even recieved a refund in December 2014 because he had over-paid. The next month Roderick's $6,628 tax refund was captured by the state so he went from getting an over pay refund of $736 to the next month owing $6,628 Mr. McClintock didn't just fold up his tent he inquired and begin to seek to recover what was his. The money was sent to his ex-wife and now the state doesn't want to reimburse him but instead suggested that he sue his ex-wife due to the mistake by the state.
