In this episode of Bringing Voices To Power I talk with Dr. Libby Parker. Dr. Libby Parker is a professional educator with 25 years experience in K-12 with extensive experience with at-risk populations. She holds a National Board Certified in Exceptional Needs Mild to Moderate Disabilities Early Childhood to Young Adulthood, a Master's degree in Instructional Leadership, an Educational Specialist degree and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. She has provided professional development for teachers, schools, and school systems across North Alabama and the state in topics such as Classroom Management, Behavior Management, Collaborative Teaching, Relate-Motivate-Educate,a nd Closing the Achievement Gap.
She is creator and founder of H.O.P.E. Leadership Academy (Helping Others Pursue Excellence). She is also the founder and CEO of the Joseph Halladay Parker Foundation, non-profit created to provide funding for H.O.P.E. Leadership Academy so that school districts could continue the program. This program is currently serving 12 schools, with more slated to start in 2017.
