We will take a look at the controversy surrounding Citizen's United v. The FEC in case 08-205. What are the first amendment implications? Without the hidden restrictions on citizens in the McCain-Feingold Campaign Finance Reform legislation would we be having such confusions? It is a known fact, now, the campaign finance reform McCain was so proud to wave during his 2008 campaign did more to keep small candidates out of the running than stopping big money from flowing in. Is this case a ripple effect we should never have felt? If we never strayed from the true Electoral College we would not be dealing with such issues yet here we are so deal with them we must.
