"The Spirit of TRANSFORMATION!"

Whenever I think of the word transformation, the vision of a caterpillar morphing into a butterfly  comes to mind. It is a profound change that happens in obscurity (inside of the cocoon) or "chrysalis."

When my son was a little boy, we once saw a chrysalis hanging from a low branch and he was tempted to "help" the butterfly get out! I told him that God had already given him all the help he would need, but he just could see it! I further told him that the butterfly had a little "tool" that he used to create a crack in the cocoon and then he would use his wings to push his way out. I taught him that the butterfly pushing on his own would strengthen his wings and enable him to be strong enough to fly away; but if he helped him get out, his wings would not develop enough for him to fly and he would probably die very quickly!
