What is Victory?

ictory! We say we have it, we claim it, we sing it, yet, even with it, what Job wrote remains true: "Man who is born of a woman is few of days and full of trouble. He comes out like a flower and withers; he flees like a shadow and continues not." (Job 14:1-2)  So what exactly is this thing we have from God.

For many, having victory means they have gotten past a challenge in life....until the challenge returns, stronger than ever.  For others, it means they've finally closed a difficult chapter life chapter...until the next chapter opens, possessing more and greater difficulty.  Consequently, some come to think of victory as a temporary item, not to be fully experienced until after we depart this world.

I'm just not persuaded such is the case, and I want to look more closely at this thing we have, in the name of Jesus: Victory!
