Cavario H., the co-founder, former co-owner, head writer and editor-at-large of Don Diva magazine launched his independent publishing company Body of Power Publishing Inc. in September of 2006.
In 1999 Cavario began taking readers to the streets, “…giving them the game from a safe distance” through his widely accepted and street credible unisex publication Don Diva. Known as the “The Original Street Bible”, Cavario used Don Diva’s pages to keep it both real and relevant through his interviews with convicted drug kingpins and the world’s hottest hip hop artists, educating audiences about the hip-hop culture and what he refers to as “the moral paradox of gangsterism.” With a fan base just shy of one million, Cavario proved that ordinary people appreciate crime based content.
Regarded as an expert in urban subculture, Cavario has appeared on several radio and television programs such as Court T.V. (on Surius Satellite) and over 25 nationally distributed DVD documentaries. During the Federal probe into the dealings of the mega-rap label Murder Inc. he was called upon by B.E.T.’s nightly news and appeared as a guest expert. He was also a special guest on MSNBC, FOX News and CNN during the investigation into the murder of a Maryland federal prosecutor.
” B.o.P.p’s first release will be Cavario’s autobiography, “Raised By Wolves: Inside the Life & Mind of A Guerrilla Hustler” it chronicles the life of a young man raised in a crime-ridden environment by a single mother who sold drugs and attracted men woven from the same fabric. Instead of heeding the omens of violent death, and personal destruction, the boy chose to follow in the footsteps of his predecessors, determined to improve upon their approaches.
