Bestselling author, marketing consultant and social reformer Lynn Serafinn hosts, African singer, songwriter and author, Nianell.

Born Sonia Nel in Namibia, Nianell is a South African singer, pianist, guitarist and composer. As a child, she always had a passion for music. But as she was painfully shy, many of her teachers tried to persuade her to give up her dream of becoming a singer. Ignoring the naysayers, she spent many years playing in small bars and clubs in South Africa, struggling to promote her unique style and lyrics. A true success story, Nianell rose to become a multi-platinum recording artist and songwriter who has performed with such world-renowned singers as Christina Aguilera, Andrea Bocelli, Westlife, Diana Ross, Shakira, Freshly Ground, and the Grammy Award winning Soweto Gospel Choir.

These days, Nianell has dedicated her life to motivating and inspiring others. Now a wife and mother of triplets (all girls), Nianell has published a new book entitled Knowing Who I Am, where she shares the lessons her experience in the music industry taught her.
