It has been a while since Rural America Radio began advocating for measures to help bridge the digital divide in America. Now, unwittingly, it appears, the White House is joining our effort. A senior Obama Administration Official announced a plan to bring wireless technology to all Americans. On this show, we will discuss Austan Goolsbee's description of the National Wireless Initiative. Rural America Radio is a weekly show broadcast on Saturdays at 3pm central US time. Our focus this year, as in the previous year, has been Broadband and its impact on the local economies of rural communities. We interview guests on a regular basis and keep you up-to-date on the latest developments involving high-speed Internet, agriculture, organic farming and other topics affecting rural communities in the United States and, occasionally, overseas. You can call +1-646-378-1746 to participate in the show during the live broadcast.
