Lina is an R&B artist who blends the musical sensibilities of classic jazz and 1930's swing into her music. Her vocal delivery is reminiscent of jazz great Billie Holiday. Her artsy, funky style is reminiscent of Erykah Badu or Jill Scott. On 2/12/08, Lina independently released her new album entitled Morning Star on her label, Moodstar Recordings. Her First album “Stranger on Earth” was named R&B Album of the Year by Pulse Magazine and one of the Top Ten R&B Albums of the Year by Billboard Magazine .Lina writes all of her own songs and is a sought after songwriter for other artists.
