Today's show 3.13.14

On the March 13th broadcasting of the Loisirslit Non-Profit Thursday Radio Show benefiting The Southern Food and Beverage Museum and showcasing some of our city’s brightest movers and shakers in the literacy, arts, music, fashion, and healthy living. Our guests include Southern Food and Beverage Museum’s President and Director Elizabeth Williams and Operations Manager Kelsey Parris.  Also joining us today is Chef Ryan Hughes of Purloo Restaurant, which will be opening in the Southern Food and Beverage Museum in the summer of 2014.

Additionally, we have the honor of chatting with a New Orleans Icon, Chef Leah Chase of Dooky Chase's Restaurant. Mrs. Leah Chase is an Author, Television Personality, and has a foundation that makes significant contributions to education, creative and culinary arts and social justice. We are pleased and honored to have Curtis Knapp, an amazing and world renowned photographer, who actually did Madonna’s first magazine cover.  Also visiting us today is Bustout Burlesque, an authentic 1950s-style burlesque show, recreating the glamorous nightclub entertainment found on Bourbon Street decades ago.  Our musical guest today is Micah McKee of the band Little Maker.

And as always we are accompanied with our new talented host Jennifer Pagan and our resident band and Dj BLacK PeaRl.
