This week Suzanne's guest is Ann Ranson, who specializes in creating Civil Cultures.  Ann is committed to civil behavior, which she describes as being full of respect, compassion, honesty, grace and curiosity. Or "Doing well by doing good."

She helps organizations understand the impact that civil behavior has on their bottom line – positively or negatively.  She believes Civil Behavior is now a national imperative and that to solve the big problems, we’ll need strong cultures and even stronger relationships built on foundations of values and trust.

Ann has over 30 years of business success which she accomplished by building long-term, trust-based relationships, that required a high level of civil mastery.  Upon reflecting on her experiences in media, Ann made a surprising discovery – business is no longer just a series of transactions – it is a social construct.  Today, she helps organizations prioritize Civil Cultures that help to build trust and break down barriers.

She has studied extensively for over 25 years in personal and professional growth potential. With a career spanning 30+ years in the rough-and-tumble media world, Ann learned the art of the alliance.  Her real world perspective comes from executing high-stakes sales and marketing campaigns, to quickly learn what does and does not work.

Ann has worked with Fortune 500 companies for over 30 years and during that time learned how the ‘big boys’ approach business. She now uses that success and experience to helps organizations to develop Civil Cultures.
