Former NBA star Kenny “The Jet” Smith, now a TNT hoops analyst, weighs in on the New York Knicks’ challenge of pooling their talents to regain the glory of their Walt Frazier days.  “They don’t just need practice time, they need game time together. It’s different when you’re experiencing an obstacle when it’s happening. But when you’re just at practice, the stakes aren’t as high. There aren’t any real consequences, except maybe for having to run sprints,” he tells The Knicks Blog host Anthony Donahue. “But the consequences of losing a game, that’s a different thing. And the evolving Knicks lineup, they haven’t experienced that yet. So it’s going to take them going through some adversity together before they know how to gel.”
