Jeron Nelson is a firearm instructor and personal protection consultant in the state of Illinois.
Jeron is the owner of Illinois Civilian Defense Inc. A small black owned business that specializes in concealed carry certification, firearm safety training and education as well as personal protection services.
While Jeron is certified by the NRA in many disciplines, he chooses to use "unorthodox" training methods that mimic real world situations. This strategy better prepares his clients for the most likely aggressors they will face in their day to day activities.
Jeron has plans to move Illinois Civilian Defense Inc into the mainstream and collaborate with other black owned firearm, self-defense and security businesses across the country.
