Today I am pleased to welcome Los Angeles based writer/director/filmmaker and social commentary Tim Alexander. Many of you know him from his controversial film, "Diary of A Tired Black Man" which generated a lot of buzz and discussions. Tim is also a public speaker and very active on his FB feeds which will definitely make you think about the topics and trends he brings to the attention of his followers. Who is Tim Alexander? Is he a rabble rouser who has a disdain for certain factions of our community and "doesnt like black women" as he has been accused of at times? Does he just like to keep the dysfunctional on blast OR is he a real advocate for change with a talent and skill for not only provoking genuine THOUGHT in discussions on the apparent decay in society through his films and blogs, but is doing something about it. Like Tim Alexander or not, you will have some food for thought when he's done with you. I had an opportunity to speak to Tim recently and I recall he posed a rhectorical question to me with reference to why he even bother's some of his work and I could hear a bit of fatigue in his voice, yet there was at the same time a softspoken determination and a genuine concern  for family and community despite the "bite" in some of his POV's. I want to ask YOU family to help support his next project, Diary Of A Black Man Prt 2, by clicking the link at the bottom of the show info. There's no doubt the Black Family and black male/female relationships need repair. Like many who dare to call out attention to a problem in the black community, he catches hell sometimes for his approach. Let's find out  what he has to say in HIS diary and welcome him to the Light 08 Radio Experience. Support Diary of a Tired Blackman 2.
