The book of Esther is a love story as we all know. It tells of a woman who risked her life to save her family and her ancestry.  She is looked as being a hero. A leader, a teacher, a mere example of what it means to take a stand.

But in the book of Esther she not only teaches us about leadership but she teaches us something more intimate about our own personal selves.  Interestingly enough Esther was an orphan who was adopted by her cousin Mordecai.  Mordecai in his journey became second in command to Haman.  You know the story Haman is offended when Mordecai doesn’t bow to him so he plot to kill all the jews, including Esther. Esther however, has not revealed to Ahaserus, the king, her identity.
