Hi Everybody, welcome to Soul Tuesday, www.blogtalkradio.com/lifeissobeautiful

Feb.23, 2016   @ 3-4p.m. eastern. 347-205 9957 chat room.

I am Happy to celebrate Madam C.J. Walker.

Madam C. J. Walker, was an African American entrepreneur, philanthropist, and the first female self-made millionaire in America. I’m interviewing  her Great granddaughter  A’Lelia Bundles.

She’s Author and journalist A’Lelia Bundles who’s at work on her fourth book, The Joy Goddess of Harlem: A’Lelia Walker and the Harlem Renaissance, a biography of her great-grandmother, whose parties and arts patronage helped define that era. On Her Own Ground: The Life and Times of Madam C.J. Walker—A’Lelia’s biography of her great-great-grandmother—was named a New York Times Notable Book.

A former network television news executive and producer for ABC News and NBC News, she is chairman of the board of the National Archives Foundation and a vice chairman of Columbia University’s board of trustees.

She lives in Washington, DC.

Let’s celebrate together and learn.

Thanks

Vanda Guzman
