Financial Literacy Around the Holidays

Each and every year for the months of November and December, many forget how much of a financial struggle they endured the other 10 months of the year. Consumers will camp out the night before to get the the opportunity to spend their hard earned cash on a lot of things they could probably do without.

The term Black Friday was coined, because retailers like Walmart will see as much as 40% of their gross revenues generated during the holidays. They literally will see their books go from being in the red to the "black" in one month. 

How do we get off this cycle of excess consumerism? This week, we will have the founder of  Gatekeeper Ministries, Inc., Nick Simonic as our guest. As well as being a ministry visionary, Nick is a CPA that works with many successful indivduals and businesses, in industries as divergent as network marketers to ministries.
