In the forty-fourth episode, Todd, Jim, Honorary Panelist/Co-Chair Jay Hailey, and their panelists Lew Rockwell blogger and author Bill Anderson, Libertarian Party of California member and pro-Liberty commentator Jason Gonella, and prominent libertarian activist Donald Meinhausen discussed Obama issuing covert U.S. government support for the Libyan rebels, The Nation's Jeremy Scahill slamming MSNBC host Ed Schultz for siding with Obama on the U.S. involvement in Libya, Defense Secretary Robert Gates urging a limited role in the U.S.'s aid of the rebels, Libyan Foreign Minister Moussa Koussa reportedly defecting to the Transitional Council and providing "strategic" information to the group that can pave the way to Qadaffi's removal from power, Bill's criticism of Doug Thompson attacking Ron and Rand Paul, conservative talk show host Mark Levin taking potshots at Ludwig von Mises Institute writer and economist Thomas Woods, the New York Times' imposition of a "paywall" at the expense of its digital nonsubscribers to its website, Wisconsin judge halting enforced new law that strips state employees' "union rights," City of Oakland, California fining an organic/herb farm grower $2500 for raising crops in an empty lot in the city, rapper Dr. Dre defeating lawsuit against him by a cop which results in the Michigan Supreme Court stating that cops do not have a right to privacy while on the job, etc.
