In the thirty-eighth episode, Todd, Jim, and permanent panelist Rick McLastnom and their panelists Liberty activist and writer William Stone III and Liberty activist and commentator Jason Jewell discussed Congress' failure to raise the debt ceiling, Democrats and the Obama administration saying that American defaulting on the debt could have "catastrophic consequences" for the country, Tea Party congressmen compromising on their fiscal conservative principles by voting to raise the ceiling, a Democratic congresswoman named Gabrielle Giffords being shot by a teenage pyscho named Jared Loughner at a Safeway grocery store in Arizona, the death of a 9 year old girl and a federal judge in the shooting, the left and the right taking shots at each other over the shooting, Real Time host Bill Maher exploiting and politicizing the shooting to call for more gun control on his show, the recent involuntary commitment ("incarceration") of Shaun Lee Dickerson and the events that followed, the shifting of the planetary alignment and the increasing volcanic activity, Illinois Governor Pat Quinn signing bill to boost the state's income tax by 66 percent, the Heritage Foundation's report on the "Most Economically Free Countries," Arizona passes "funeral protection zone" law in response to Westboro Baptist Church protests, and the IRS granting Americans an extension of three days to file their tax returns this year.

[*Note: The show was awesome, as Rick and Bill made it extremely fun. Jim came onto the show late because of his job. Other than that, it was a fun show, and I loved it.]
