LNC Treasurer James Oaksun discussed WikiLeaks releasing the embassy cables documents which result in the U.S. government's furor over Cablegate, conservatives calling for the execution of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, the Obama administration and the Justice Department wanting to prosecute Assange for espionage by invoking the old Espionage Act of 1917, Assange not being tried for treason because he's not an American citizen, the State Department and the federal government attacking WikiLeaks' website and shutting it down, WikiLeaks setting up shop on Amazon.com which ends up being removed hours later after calls from Senator Joe Lieberman (I-CT)'s office, National Opt-Out Day being a success after the TSA controversy, the body scanner machines being deactivated, John Tyner, We Won't Fly's George DOnnelly, Pete Eyre, and Meg McLain having been smeared by The Nation, The Nation editor Katrina Vanden Heuvel offers apology to Tyner, a woman being cuffed and thrown into jail for being pregnant, Charles Manson getting a cell phone in prison, the never-ending nightmarish War on Drugs, and the expiring Bush tax cuts.
