Why do so-called black people dislike Israelite?

Shalom, why does it seem like other black people have a problem when you say that you are an Israelite? Is it that they truly believe the people that's in Israel are the true Israelites? Some say that we are trying to attached ourself to the Jewish religion.  Let's talk about it.
