In 2014, the idea that what happens across the globe has no impact on me, is outdated and outlandish. The world is 10 times smaller than it was just 30 years ago. Sattelite Television, Social Media and the latest Telecommunication Devices has brought us all much closer. Advances in transportation technology on land, sea and air has also brought us all closer together. But isn't it ironic that the closer we have become; the more distant we seem to act toward each other? We are all Human Beings, but one would think we were all from different worlds. Morality (Right from Wrong) has been twisted and Values (What is important and what should take priority) have been miss-placed. Murder by suicide, horrible acts of violence, war, hunger, poverty, disease, Racism, as well as Religious Persecution and all manner of Human Suffering have become the norm as we have all become desensitized. What exactly makes us so different? What do people in one nation do that make people in another nation despise them? In fact, what is it that people across the street do that causes us to despise them? Why can't we all just get along? In light of recent world events and the talk of Immigration Reform and so on...
