Since the Writers Strike of 2007, we have been bombarded by the birth and oversaturation of reality TV. (Allegedly) These shows are supposed to be a mirrored depiction of the reality we see today that we have chosen to downplay and ignore. Are we seeing our truths being played out and is it helping us to deal with our vices and dysfunctions to be better?  Are these actual realities being exploited and affirming stigma’s or are they scripts being created to garner a lucrative ignorance?
