Sheyla Morataya-Fleishman is an author, motivator, and life coach specializing on the issues affecting Hispanic Women and their families. Having moved to the United States from her birthplace of El Salvador at the age of 31, she faced challenges that many recent arrivals have had to overcome. In developing as a mother, wife, and professional, she saw the need to help guide other women going through similar hurdles. This prompted her academic and professional career in studying the dynamics of women’s issues as well as family relations.
