Susan and her mother spent several agonizing hours on the side of I-81 in southwestern Virginia waiting for her father and Scotty to find their way south instead of north. She and JennyO, her co-host have a lively conversation about her book and any other questions that come from callers or people in the Chat Room. They laugh together at some of Lady Father's stories and there are some that touch much more than the funny bone.

Lady Father is the author of an inspirational memoir of her spiritual journey to ordained priesthood as a woman. Rev. Susan Bowman was one of the first women ordained as an Episcopal Priest in southeastern Virginia in the 1980's.
