Addressing Trauma and the Effects

This class will discuss the epidemic of traumatizing events. We will define what trauma is and we will look at the physical, psychological and emotional wounds through biblical eyes.
How it affects our abilities to function effects of trauma
 

We will define Trauma as a physical psychological or emotional wound (Psalms 109:22 Lamentations 3:19-20).
 

Dealing with the effects of trauma as outlined below:
Brain structure

·         The impact of emotional trauma

·         Dealing with the relationship between childhood emotional trauma and the development of an individual

·         Interventions

·         Trauma can inhibit the ability of the child's ability to verbalize

·         Impact of trauma on a child and development.
