We had a full house again this week. Kim, Mitch and Karen chatted with this week’s guest, Jeff Gray. Jeff is a very talented young local (Airdrie) musician that also has a great big heart. He sings live for us with an original “I Will Love You" and we play out with another of his tracks “And I Fall". We enjoyed having Jeff on the show, a very interesting guy! We are looking forward to Jeff coming back in the fall to chat some more on a different topic.

Sunday she was up in Cochrane and chatted with John White, Director of Mountain Shadow Music Festival scheduled for this weekend August 23 & 24 in Cochrane. There is a great lineup of local talent and we will be there talking with them so come say hi if you see us wandering around.

John White is also the frontman for blues band Smoking Aces. Tune in to hear their amazing track “Hand Me Down Angel". John will be coming on the show later in the fall to talk about his band and more.

Karen also met with Sandy Bunch president of the Three Sisters Scottish Festival Society and Canmore Highland Games. Sandy tells us what is coming up next weekend in Canmore. August 30th is the Taste of the Highlands and August 31 Highland Games and Ceilidh with Celtic Folk Band Solstice. We will be up there taking in a few of the events all weekend so if you are up in Canmore for the Games, come say hi.
