Duane Allman Skydog Special; Tom Gee

Tonight, the KUDZOO Radio Hour and your host Michael Buffalo Smith is proud to present an all-new, syndicated one hour special in celebration of the reboot of the boxed set SKYDOG: THE DUANE ALLMAN ANTHOLOGY on Rounder Records!. SkyDog, The Duane Allman Retrospective features the music and rare audio of the world renowned guitarist and tracks from the Allman Brothers Band, Derek and the Dominos and select gems from his early career with The Allman Joys, Hour Glass, plus some of the amazing studio sessions Duane contributed to. We will hear from daughter, Galadrielle Allman, renowned guitarist and longtime collaborator Dickey Betts, Derek Trucks and Warren Haynes from the Allman Brothers band, music legend Boz Scaggs and of course brother Gregg Allman all sharing their memories of the one and only Duane Allman. As a special treat, courtesy of the Allman Brothers Band Museum, we have uncovered some rare audio from Duane himself talking about his music and career. This is not to be missed!
Also tonight we welcome Tom Gee. Tom and his band are a funky rockin’ guitar and horn-driven group based in Great Britain, and Tom’s guitar style is reminiscent of the greats like Santana and John Mayer.
