Oregon Update--
 
ever since Obama got elected, if anybody disagreed with anybody in the White House, it was racist.
 
However, at last Thursday's fundraiser, president Obama told a crowd that California Attorney General Kamala Harris “is brilliant and she is dedicated and she is tough, and she is exactly what you’d want in anybody who is administering the law, and making sure that everybody is getting a fair shake. She also happens to be by far the best-looking attorney general in the country.”
 
I recall some of the training that I've had working for a major corporation that a comment like this one would get me in trouble for sexual-harassment.
 
So you think this was appropriate for the president to say?
 
Robin Kelley, candidate for Illinois congressional election sided with the president on concealed carry laws using the Aurora Theatre citing as an example of how ineffective concealed carry is.
 
Kelly is openly campaigned on a promise that she will "leave the issue on banning guns."
