Oregon Update --The national debt is $1.2 trillion and growing and the federal government is proposing to raising the ceiling on the national debt which is similar to raising the credit limit on your credit card.

Government spending is out of control both nationally and locally and they are looking for more creative ways to get money out of us.

locally, in Eugene/Springfield, Oregon for example, they want to charge individual households $1.75 a month for the road maintenance fee in addition to the state of Oregon wanting to charge a variable Per Mile Fee by placing a GPS in your car and recording how many miles you drive payable at the pump.

the question is... when is enough enough?

will talk about this another interesting examples of how the government is trying to get OUR money, Wednesday April 20, 2011 10 a.m. Pacific Time.
