It's no coincidence boxing is so easy to use as a basis for all kinds of art. From ancient paintings and sculptures, to music, writing and film, boxing has gone through it all.

But with film specifically, boxing has not only been at the forefront of film innovation historically, but it's also arrived at film's pinnacles, with boxing films winning the most prestigious awards artound.

On this episode of Knuckles and Gloves, Patrick Connor and Brin-Jonathan Butler discuss many of boxing's themes and remember much of its history.
