Vasyl Lomachenko vs Jason Sosa Preview

We're heading right into the middle of the year, and already 2017 has been rather kind to boxing fans. There has been no shortage of exciting fights and many have even been meaninigful. Over the next month or two, things get interesting in boxing and we should get more fireworks.

This weekend on HBO, one of boxing's most talented and flashy performers, Vasyl Lomachenko, takes on a worthy contender in Jason Sosa. It's not the five star bout everyone might hope, but it's a very respectable scrap, and one that offers Lomachenko the opportunity to make a huge statement.

In the HBO openers, Oleksandr Usyk and Oleksandr Gvozdyk make appearances against Michael Hunter and Yunieski Gonzalez, respetively. It's an all-Ukraine feature, and it should be worthy.
