What do you do when you're the best fighter in the world, people tune in to pay cable shows to watch you count your money, you're undefeated, you work hard, you're dedicated and you're all about raising the roof, Benjamins, letting the dogs out and all of that cool stuff? You fight the guy who kicked the crap out of your "little brother," of course. Floyd Mayweather vs Marcos Maidana has been both celebrated and bemoaned - usually celebrated because it's the biggest event of the year thus far, and usually bemoaned because, on paper, it appears to be a typical Mayweather mismatch, and the undercard sucks. It could actually wind up being more like this last weekend's Showtime card featuring Keith Thurman vs Julio Diaz, Lucas Matthysse vs John Molina and Omar Figueroa vs Jerry Belmontes, and surprise the hell out of us. It's unlikely, but that's why we watch this stuff. Joining Patrick Connor of Queensberry-Rules this week (James Foley of Bad Left Hook is taking a small vacation, but he'll be back!) is Tim Starks, editor/founder of TQBR, and Matthew Swain, also of TQBR. Thanks for tuning in!
