In Ep 36, I talk with actor/writer Peter Breitmayer whom you may know from FargoThe Middle, A Serious Man, and the Progressive Commercials. And here is something that is super amazing, Peter is in the upcoming movie Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them as the character Gilbert Bingley!

Here is something interesting (and sad) that happened the day we recorded this episode. Prince died. Peter is from Minnesota and about an hour before we recorded this podcast, the terrible news was announced. We were both still processing this information when we began recording and I asked if he had any memories he could share about growing up in Minnesota when Prince came on the scene. And boy did he have some great memories including seeing Prince live on numerous occasions and also a fun story about sneaking a close-up look at a Prince’s purple house. It was a lovely and cathartic conversation.

He also shares stories from the Fargo set where he worked side by side with Billy Bob Thornton and Bob Odenkirk. And yes, we talk about Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. He told me about the audition where he landed the role, the shoot in England, the impeccable sets, costumes, mustaches and also working with David Yates and Eddie Redmayne.
