TYRE EVANS
Born and raised on the south side of Chicago on October 27, 1978, I grew up with two siblings a brother and a sister. My mom raised us on her own. Being a single mother of three children was hard for her. It was the grace of God that kept us safe growing up in Chicago. I always felt that I had a special connection with Jesus growing up. There were so many instances in my life that I could not have been here as a child if it wasn't for God protecting me. My mother told me that when I was born, she took me on the back porch at night after bringing me home, lifted me up in the air and gave me back to God. I thank God for her, because even though she grew up on hard times, she recognized that the lord was still in charge. I started singing when I was 5 years old.
