He was raised by his aunt Eddie Mae Merritt & sister A media Thornton. He is 24 years of age. C-DUB attends Families United In Christ Outreach Ministry in Alachua, FL under the leadership of Pastor Anthony Cooper were he is the youth minister. C-DUB started ministering through the form of gospel rap in 2008 under the influence of D.King who was a mentor to him his first couple of years in ministry. Since the start of his ministry C-DUB has celebrated plenty of success. He has two mix tapes out. His first mix tape is titled Trying to Reach Souls which came out in 2008. In 2010 C-DUB released his 2nd CD tilted No More Compromising with the help of Jerry at Forever Graphics. In 2008 & 2009 C-DUB was nominated for best christian hip-hop artist in the 352. C-DUB has traveled all over Florida & Georgia doing concerts and events getting the young adults excited about Christ.
