John Bell Jr, A native of Suitland, Md, and a 1996 graduate of SUITLAND HIGH SCHOOL. Previously embodied a challenged past that led him to spend nearly 14 years in the FEDERAL PRISON SYSTEM. While incarcerated John gave his life to CHRIST, in 2008. As he grew closer to CHRIST, he was compelled to uncover his purpose in life. With an infinite amount of time and countless months spent in solitude. John began discerning the voice of the HOLY SPIRIT, leading him to participate in active fellowship with CHRISTIAN organizations in the FEDERAL SYSTEM. John continued quest, his purpose manifested when he found peace as a writer. So he spent the rest of his prison sentence doing just that? WRITING?! After being incarcerated for 13 years, 3 months, and 6 days. John was released back into society in MAY of 2015, determined to indemnify his debt to the communities that he crippled with his participation in criminal activity. Today John stands before you FIRST and foremost as a MAN OF GOD, and also an author of 5 books, hundreds of poems and over 65 GOSPEL SONGS. A three time presenter in the PARLEI IN CHRIST event and HONORED presenter in ?KEEPING IT REAL FRIDAYS?! Hosted by ELDER THOMAS BRAKEEN of EBENEZER BAPTIST CHURCH, in ALEXANDRIA VA. Both events target the youth and young adult fellowship amongst like Disciples of Christ. John now illustrates in the physical that CHRIST is still in the business of SAVING LOST SOULS.
