Religious Freedom vs Obamacare Affordable Care Act

Obamacare fundamentally infringes upon my First Amendment rights!

The Founding Fathers chose to constitutionally protect freedom of religion.

I and many other Americans hold sincere religious convictions which are contrary to the purchase of medical insurance. As an American who has been guaranteed by God the freedom of religion, that is my God granted right.

Some religious organizations have been granted exemption from the ACA.  Others have not. What's going on?  Does the First Amendment only apply to select groups of Americans?

Don't get me wrong. If you choose medical treatment and trust in what you hold to be its virtues, that is also your right as a free thinking American, and you are also guaranteed YOUR freedom of religion. In a sense, holding your trust in medicine also constitutes a part YOUR religion, because your choice reflects how you understand YOUR conscious being, and what YOU hold to be your spiritual identity and relationship to God.

Your view may be a little different from mine. But your choice and your view of who and what you are, belongs to YOU, just as MY choice belongs to me. We all have been granted by God the freedom to think and feel about existence as we individually choose.

Some Christians use the term "free will", but I think it goes a step deeper than will when will is seen in a spiritual rather than in a human sense. But let's use that term to make a point:

Your free will cannot be legislated!

Please call in with your 2 cents worth!
