Continuing our series on the damages inflicted on a community due to the negligent enforcement of road safety laws...Officer Breana Straus created a viral TikTok video in which she blatantly admitted that cops do indeed abuse their authority with regards to speed and road regulaions, and civilian drives need to "get the 'f" out of the way" or risk a pullover or fine being created for their inconvenience. She was penalized with a mere one-shift suspension. Assemblyman Brian Kolb was caught driving drunk after urging his constiuents not to drink and drive on New Year's Eve. A female police officer was flmed talking on a hand-held cell phone while operating a motor vehicle, and a 7-year-old child was mowed sown by an NYPD tow truck driver speeding around a corner while looking down at her phone. The increasing amount of deaths to civilian distracted driving or reckless driving is outrageus and horrifying.  ,However is the audacious disregard for safety laws by the ones put in place toenforce them a bigger threat to our community?
