BLACK LIVES MATTER movements are saturating the nation--fighting the age old, never-ending brutal treatment of Blacks in America throughout its four-century history. The movement, started by amazing brave souls tired of the atrocities has evolved into a global alliance of non-Blacks tired of the atrocities toward Blacks. Unfortunately, the movement continues to receive just as much disrespect from its oppressors as it has gained support from its global allies, making the fight a tough one as with all movements aimed to instill or implement change. The outside attacks are abominable, but having to deal with the knowledge that there is trouble to fight in our own backyard, and that trouble contributes to enabling further disrespect against our community from the enemy, is heartwrenching. Infractions by Blacks against the preservation of Black lives and our true essence is just as troubling and enables outsiders to continue to disrespect our rights and demands for change from outsiders. Tonight, we will be touching on the damage caused by Blacks in power and in public spotlights that dismiss the true problem and existence of racism--along with Blacks plucked from communities and selling out to the proverbial carrot-on-a-stick offer of "acceptance" in White America.
