  1. 20% of your food budget in your jar...

  2. Menu Grid Project:Go get yourself a magnet note board (The Marsha Schroeder Board) of size, or use a cork board, or use your frig with a calender grid, (tape up a grid), or use paper and pencil, etc..

  • I use 2x3 feet magnet board

  • put this on a wall where family sees often

  • put a calender grid on this for one week

  • pin up, use magnets, or however you decide, your menu for the week or 2 weeks

  • this may cost some money so use some of your saved food budget money.

  1. Now seriously plan a week's menu and write out the menu and put it on the grid...later you can make up magnet menus and use these., or another method This becomes your “franklin menu planner “ of sorts. Remember... it does not control you. You control the menu calender.

  2. Stick to your plan for 1 whole week.
