In Marguerite's Words: Two things that I do are making Art Quilts and studying Vaastu Architechure.  My quilts are like large mandalas that begin with a center square and move out squaring the circle.  You can look at them close up and see details of various images, and you can look at them far away and see patterns of color.

The last two quilts I finished were “Noah’s Flood.”  Both had tiny squares of blues and purples, a small patchwork Ark and the three birds from the Babylonian story of the Flood - the raven, the dove, and the swallow.

Before that I finished a quilt for the Supreme Court of New Mexico on “Justice”.  The image I choose was the “Feather of Maat” from the Egyptian story of the Underworld.  One’s heart was weighed against Maat’s feather.  In order to proceed in the Underworld, one had to have lived a life that was not burdened by sin but was virtuous."
